Dr. Merica Esson grew up in Detroit, retired from Corporate America at 25, and by 27 had founded a nonprofit dedicated to holistic wellness, education, and community transformation. She has traveled all seven continents on humanitarian missions, received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024, and was named an Antarctic Ambassador in 2025. The Merica Esson Foundation is her life's work. A place where every person is seen, supported, and set free to thrive.

Born in Detroit, Dr. Esson retired from Corporate America at 25 and founded her first nonprofit at 27. Every organization she has built, including the Merica Esson Foundation and Eden, a holistic wellness sanctuary, has been personally funded as an act of faithful stewardship.
