Adopting a School District

In partnership with a local church, the Merica Esson Foundation adopted an entire school district and handcrafted beautiful thank-you baskets for every staff member. It was a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the educators and workers who pour into our children every day.

COVID-19 PPE Relief Initiative

When the pandemic hit, Dr. Merica Esson didn't wait. She personally handmade and vacuum-sealed face masks, assembled health care packages, and shipped PPE to hospitals, healthcare workers, and those in need across Detroit, California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and beyond. In partnership with Healthy Synergy Nonprofit Corporation, the Foundation donated personal protective equipment to fight the war against COVID-19.
